Lucy and Michael choose a World Gift wedding list

Lucy and Michael’s Wedding List – a vegetable garden, a school starter pack, a fruit nursery.

Unusual requests for newly-weds!  But when CAFOD volunteer Lucy Slater married Michael Clarke in May they added CAFOD World Gifts to their wedding list so that people had the chance to buy an alternative gift  other than the more traditional ones.

Lucy wrote: ” We were delighted that so many of our friends and family liked the World Gifts and chose to buy them.  It means so much that our celebration of love can help someone else in the world.

“Whilst material goods break or wear away its nice to think that some of the gifts people bought us for our wedding day will live on and help people for many years to come.

“Receiving a vegetable garden, bicycle, school starter pack or fruit trees is a gift you’ll always remember and we’d definitely recommend it to anybody who is deciding on a gift list.”
