In the last week of July volunteers John Green, Jenny Allen and Ingrid Pasteur, along with Hallam Diocesan officer Helen Desforges went to camp – along with 5,ooo Scouts and Guides.  The event was Peak 2010 International camp at Chatsworth Park in the Derbyshire Peak District.  We were  there in the International tent with our Act on Poverty CAFOD stand.  The slogan for the camp was One World, our world

Nearly 200 young people came to our stand.  They worked out our State of the World icebreaker and decided they needed to do something to make our world better and made 136 promises to stick on our No. 10 Downing street door to send to Mr Cameron.  Meanwhile their leaders signed over 70 cards
