Hallam ‘Takes a Step’ for Fairtrade Fortnight

Fairtrade Fortnight got well and truly underway in Hallam yesterday marking the start of 14 days promotion of Fairtrade products and the benefits enjoyed by those producing them.Angela Powell, CAFOD Hallam’s Diocesan Manager, ‘stepped out’ on a ‘Coffee Crawl’ organised jointly with Christian Aid and Local Churches Together. The group presented certificates to four coffee shops in Sheffield town centre in recognition for their commitment to promotion and sale of Fairtrade produce.
