£1 a day challenge: Day 2, Rice

ImageDay 2 began with beans on toast whilst preparing this delightful concoction (pictured above) of rice with kidney beans and chopped tomatoes. Eating it in the Uni library certainly caught the attention of a few upturned noses.  It’s starting to get boring already. Might have to crack out the emergency ginger nuts later on to satisfy my cravings. I know what you’re thinking, that’s a bit of an odd craving, but at the moment thats all i can have!

Decided to only drink tap water also so i can immerse myself in the experience. Going to the pub after celebrating a comic relief show tonight dressed as Adele (yes, im wearing a dress!) so not being able to sample the ale is going to be a challenge.

Thanks for reading, you’ll hear from me tomorrow 🙂
