Digging deep this Lent

By Annie Powell

Last week, I spoke at Mass at St Paul’s Catholic Church, Grimethorpe, to thank the parish for their generous donations and ongoing support for CAFOD. I talked about how this lent we should focus on digging deep into the roots of our faith and into our lives and lifestyle to increase and strengthen our solidarity with the poor. We should also try to share the gifts we’ve been blessed with by raising funds and campaigning to help improve the lives of people who are less fortunate than us.
