St Joseph’s Handworth – Lent Assembly

CAFOD Hallam’s new schools volunteer, Lyndon, presented his first assembly to the whole school community of St Joseph’s. The theme of the assembly was the Lenten message ‘Dig Deep’. Lyndon used the power point presentation prepared by the school’s department and modified the script to his own style. He also used a ‘Treasure Box’ made for us by another schools volunteer, Rose Krzyz, to help with the presentation to enable the children to visualise the concept of ‘Treasure’ and what is important to us and the people of Sierra Leone.
