St Paul’s, Cantley Dig Deep this Lent

The parishioners of St Paul’s, Cantley are coming together at 12pm each Friday to pray together the Station of the Cross led by Deacon Chris Kime. Following this a fasting lunch of home-made soup and a bread roll is being served for anyone who would like to join in solidarity with our brothers and sisters across the world who go hungry every day. There is no set fee but donations are asked for and a  total of £58 has been raised over the two weeks of the Lenten period so far.

Organiser Anne Prior said “Through ‘Dig Deep’ people from Doncaster are making a difference. The money that grows from these events will help transform the lives of people living in poverty and we feel that this is something we are all called to respond to.”
