The Catenians get ‘Hands On’ with CAFOD

Catenians and CAFOD

The CAFOD Hallam team were delighted to join The Sheffield Hallamshire Catenian Circle 218, for dinner in June. It was an opportunity for CAFOD to feed back on the impact of the very generous support of Catenians who have funded health projects for clean water and sanitation in Zimbabwe and Zambia. Pictured above are CAFOD volunteers Alex Krzyz and Will Green who invited fellow Catenians to get ‘Hands On’ with CAFOD through a regular commitment to fund more water projects in Kenya, and all reflected on the inspiration of St Theresa of Avilla who said ‘Christ has no hands but yours’. After dinner Angela Powell, diocesan manager for CAFOD was presented with a cheque for £350, by Frank Neal, Vice President, towards CAFOD’s work around the world.
